Categories/Keywords

One of the most powerful search and browse options at Collectors Book Market is the detailed "nested" book category structure which allows sellers to get maximum exposure even if they put their item in a smaller subcategory.  "Parent" categories not only display their listings, but also all the nested listings in each "child" category (subcategory) beneath them.

Sellers can dramatically increase their items exposure by taking a few seconds to select the most appropriate category for their book or book related item.  The category structure has been carefully selected to avoid duplication as much as possible to minimize the chance that a buyer will look in the wrong category and miss some important items.

Because this category structure (like all category structures) is unique, we are developing a keyword system to help buyers and sellers use their browser's Find command (Ctrl-F) to locate and use the same category for similar items.  This category/keyword system will evolve as new keywords (or subcategories) are added as members notify us when they don't find the exact category or subcategory they think is most appropriate for their item.

Keyword/Category submissions will be vetted by our Category committee and this list will be updated on a regular basis.  Keywords will be added immediately (if approved), category changes will happen much less frequently in coordinated stages and at publicly announced times to avoid confusion.  If you have a category or keyword suggestion, don't hesitate to notify us.

Use your browser's Find command (or Ctrl-F) to quickly search this page to find the suggested category for your keyword.
Keywords may pertain to more than one category, so search until you get no results.
