Bulk Upload Opening Bid

Standard Auctions: The Opening Bid is where all bidding starts once an auction begins. This should be the absolute lowest amount the auctioneer is willing to accept for the item.  If only one bid is received, this is the amount the item will sell for unless there is a reserve price.

A common strategy for experienced sellers is to use a low starting bid to generate interest.  The number of bids is included on the listing title line and buyers are attracted to items that show activity.

Dollar Auction: For Dollar Auctions this field must be set to $1.00 and the reserve and Buy Now fields must be left blank. The seller is obligated to sell the item for $1.00 if it only receives one bid.

These items often create lots bidding activity because of the low starting bid, however, and can end up selling more often and for higher amounts than similar items with a higher starting bid and no activity.
