Report Item

Collectors Book Market uses a unique, anonymous "member enforced" quality control system to ensure that all listings meet our specified grading and identification requirements.  Whenever you suspect that an item has been misdescribed, incorrectly graded, or even miscategorized, you can use the Report Item button that is available on every View Item page to send an alert to the administrator .  You should detail the exact problem you found with the listing and include your username or email address if you want to receive an update on the report from the administrator (the item number and title will automatically be included in your alert).  The auction or Mart ad owner will know who turned in the reported item.

If the administrator agrees there may be a problem, a polite. standard notice is sent to the seller informing them of the report.  The seller is given an appropriate amount of time to either correct the problem or to explain why they feel the report is in error. If the seller fails to respond to the administrator's notice, the item will be removed from the site until they take the required action (their listing fee will be refunded on any item permanently removed).  If a seller shows a pattern of misdescribing their items or not responding to the administrator's notices, they will be contacted for an explanation and may be subject to sanctions or removal from the site altogether.
